How long have Go-Pods been made?
The first Go-Pod was originally produced back in 2006 and was called the Falcon Cockpit. The range was re-branded to its current name in 2013.
Can I buy a Go-Pod from anywhere else?
We are the sole suppliers of the Go-Pod, they are exclusive and are not available to buy elsewhere.
Registering your Go-Pod.
In order to get your TUV / license plate, we provide the following documentation:
• The ORIGINAL of the EU Conformity Certificate matching to the chassis number of the trailer.
• A purchase invoice marked "PAID" from us - the vendor.
Where is my VIN / chassis number?
Your chassis number can be found on a stamped plate on the square draw bar at the front. The longest number on the plate is the VIN number.
Can my car pull a Go-Pod?
Go-Pods are suitable for vehicles with a braked towing capacity of 750Kg or above.
What tow bar do I need?
You need a standard 50mm diameter tow ball and 13 pin socket.
How do I order a Go-Pod?
To secure your order and collection date, a non-refundable deposit is required. Orders should be placed online - please click here to visit the Shop.
Deposits.
A €1000,00 deposit is payable at time of ordering. This can be paid by bank card online.
Where do I collect my Go-Pod?
You can choose to collect from:
- Porto (Portugal)
- Dover Sea Port (UK)
- Hull Sea Port (UK)
- Go-Pods UK depot, PR8 5LF (UK)
Is delivery available?
Home delivery is available to most European regions at the subsidised rate of €749,00. Please select this option at checkout.
When is the balance payment due?
For Porto collections, the balance is due on collection day, prior to taking your Go-Pod away.
If your Go-Pod is being delivered or if you are collecting from another pick up point, the balance is due 7 days before.

Are Go-Pods insulated?
The Go-Pod is very well insulated with Styrofoam block insulation fitted between the outer wall and the inner skin.
What are the tyre pressures & sizes?
Go-Pod trailer tyres are 35 psi.
Please replace with the same type as fitted - 175/70R13 86N - which can normally be purchased from online tyre dealerships.
It is recommended not to cross tyre brands on the same axle. Please observe standard tyre safety guidelines.

Gas bottle option.
Some Go-Pod Deluxe owners in Germany have fitted 2 x 2.7Kg gas bottles to their front lockers.

What about a number plate?
You'll need to bring a number plate with you when collecting.
Go-Pod warranty.
Your Go-Pod has a 2 year manufacturer's warranty on all non-consumable parts. Warranties are non-transferable. To download a pdf copy please click here.
Servicing of your Go-Pod.
Servicing can be carried out by any local caravan dealership with a workshop. Alternatively you can book in at our factory in Porto, Portugal.

Go-Pod parts & components are mainly generic and this means that your local caravan dealership will be able to work on and repair your mini caravan if required.
Any specialist items can be dispatched directly to you or your designated workshop, from Portugal or the UK.
The body is made from GRP which is very tough & will resist damage. Should repairs be required a regular car repair centre could do this for you in the same way as they would mend a Fibreglass sports car or boat.
